Description
This Ash bowl is turned from seasoned Ash and has a little of the bark wood on it. The Ash bowl is turned and sealed with sanding sealer and then sanded down from 240 grit, through the grades to 1000 grit. Two coats of EEE paste wax is then applied, buffing between each coat. A further two coats of shellac friction polish is then applied buffing between the coats. This gives a hard wearing durable finish while still retaining the natural feel of the wood. Wooden bowls should not be put in an oven or washed in a dishwasher. They can be cleaned by wiping with a damp dishcloth.
Wood is a natural material and the colour and grain of the wood will differ. This is what makes each bowl unique!
