Description
This Ash Pedestal Clock is turned from lovely figured native Ash timber. The clock stands at 230mm tall and 130mm at the widest point. The gold clock insert is a push fit which can be pushed out from the back to change the battery (battery size AA). The time can be adjusted from the rear. The base is finished with a velvet material at the bottom. The Ash when turned is sanded down through the grits to 1000 grit, sealed with shellac sanding sealer. The Ash is then finished with numerous coats of Carnuba hard wax, buffing between coats to give a hard durable finish while maintaining the natural feel of the wood.
