Description
This Beech ring box is made from some nicely figured Beech. The Beech ring box has a Walnut inlay in the lid and a Walnut finial inside. The Beech ring box is turned and sealed with sanding sealer and then sanded down from 240 grit, through the grades to 1000 grit. Two coats of EEE paste wax is then applied, buffing between each coat. A further two coats of shellac friction polish is then applied buffing between the coats. This gives a hard wearing durable finish while still retaining the natural feel of the wood.
Wood is a natural material and the colour and grain of the wood will differ. This is what makes each ring box unique!
