Description

This Elm table lamp is made from some highly figured Elm. The table lamp stands at 350mm high (without shade) and the base is 150mm in diameter. The table lamp is fitted with a brass switched bulb holder, gold flex and a 3 pin plug. There is a velvet fabric protector fitted on the base. The Elm is turned and sealed with sanding sealer and then sanded down from 240 grit, through the grades to 1000 grit. Two coats of EEE paste wax is then applied, buffing between each coat. A further two coats of shellac friction polish is then applied buffing between the coats. This gives a hard wearing durable finish while still retaining the natural feel of the wood.

Wood is a natural material and the colour and grain of the wood will differ. This is what makes each table lamp unique!
