Description
This Oak coin dish is turned from some nicely figured seasoned Oak. The dish is 90mm wide and 35mm deep and feature 3 outer rings embellished into the dish. The Oak when turned is sanded down through the grits to 1000 grit. This is then finished with shellac sanding sealer, de-nibbed and given 2 coats of EEE paste wax. There are 2 more coats of Shellac friction polish applied, buffing between coats, to give a hard durable finish while maintaining the natural feel of the wood.
